Boasting more sunny days than Queensland's Gold Coast, Echuca-Moama has a mild, relatively dry, climate, averaging over 270 days without rain each year. Maximum temperatures average 30.1 degrees in the summer months and 14.3 over the winter

Transport

Situated on both the Northern Highway and Murray Valley Highway, Echuca-Moama is easily accessible from all directions.

V/Line passenger services (Ph: 136 196) travel between Melbourne and Echuca numerous times daily. Aircraft can land at Echuca Aerodrome, Aus Air (Ph: 03 5480 3100) runs charter services from Moorabbin and Essendon airports to Echuca and return on request.

Once in Echuca-Moama, a number of the local clubs and venues operate free courtesy buses for patrons.

Moama Bowling Club is a multi-purpose hospitality and entertainment venue located a few short meters from the banks of the magnificent Murray River. Moama Bowling Club was formed in 1928 and is in the top four percent of registered clubs in NSW. Moama is just over two hour’s drive north of Melbourne and is famous for its historic port area and the paddle steamers that travel the local waters.
